LUBCON High-temperature sliding lacquer

Description

Aqueous suspension based on a special combination of solid lubricants. Preferred use at temperatures up to +450°C. A special additivation prevents a sedimentation of the solid lubricants

Area of application

TURMOPAST GYT is especially qualified for application in tyre vulcanisation moulds.

Application conditions

In vulcanisation moulds by brush or roller. The application by spray pistol or dipping bath is also possible. At first to get an abrasive surface, the moulds should be sandblasted and afterwards cleaned with cold cleaning agent KALTREINIGER P.

To achieve a rapid drying and hardening, it is recommendable to warm up the surface of the moulds. If necessary it is possible to re-lubricate the worn out lubrication points with TURMOLYP MDC-spray, without demounting the moulds. The drying period at 20°C is approx. 20 min, the curing period at 20°C is approx. 45 min..

Before using TURMOPAST GYT it has to be shaken strongly or mixed up. TURMOPAST GYT has to be protected against freezing!
