TURMOFLUID IM-200 is a high-temperature chain lubricant ready-to-use prediluted, with MoS2.

TURMOFLUID IM-200 is a heavy duty, anti-wear lubricant, which is especially developed to take care of materials handling equipment. In combination with automatical lubrication systems TURMOFLUID IM-200 warrants highest protection in a temperature range between -55 °C to 400 °C.

Application

TURMOFLUID IM-200 is a thin film/dry film system, which first of all works as a cleaner. Its high wetting and creeping properties untie present grease and carbon residues. The highly stable thin film/dry film (MoS2)-lubrication warrants protection. The extreme low viscosity of the lubricant leads to a fast and equal distribution of the solid lubricant.

 TURMOFLUID IM-200 forms a dry film, which provides best protection, which can be demonstrated by tests concerning oxidation and film stability. The carrier fluid, which first of all works as a cleaner, evaporates quickly. Therefore the flash point, which exists at the beginning, loses his importance.
