TURMODRAW 14 is a non water miscible drawing oil for non-ferrous metal tubes and wires.

TURMODRAW 14 is formulated from highly refined mineral oil with synthetic fatty ester.

Application

TURMODRAW 14 is mainly used for the cold drawing of tubes and wires, especially as finishing oil for the ID lubriaction in the final pass when drawing copper and brass tubes. In calibrating drafts without plug inside, the oil is used for the OD lubrication.

TURMODRAW 14 is also used for inline drawing processes of aluminium fine wires down to final diameter of 0,1 mm.

TURMODRAW 14 is applied in its neat form without dilution by circulation or total loss lubrication. Lubricant residues will volatilise in the annealing furnace at temperatures above 200°C. Thus, a cleaning prior to the annealing is not necessary.
