Description

Castrol Optigear™ Synthetic DS 100 is a fully synthetic high performance gear lubricant, with a special additive combination, which provides reduced wear in the toothing parts at high loads. These additives are particularly adjusted for the use in CST gears combined with hydraulics and special friction linings. It also shows significant improved shear stability and excellent air release properties, when compared to other synthetic lubricants. The good long life stability enables longer oil drain intervals compared to traditional mineral oil based fluids.

Application

Castrol Optigear™ Synthetic DS 100 is especially designed for use in CST gears working mostly in subsurface mines. It can also be used in other gear applications, especially where specific friction linings used and also where gear teeth have to be protected against wear.
